How long have you been making jerky?
Smokeys opened in Big Bear Lake, Ca nearly 40 years ago. Soon after opening, popularity not only grew in our small mountain community but by visitors coming to enjoy the beautiful scenic atmosphere of Big Bear Lake too. Today many visitors don’t travel down the mountain before stopping at Smokeys!

We have a store in Big Bear, Ca and we will soon open a store in Calimesa, Ca!

Smokeys Beef Jerky is a small family owned business. We pride ourselves on top quality, perfectly flavored jerky and snacks and small town customer service.
What are some popular flavors?
Whiskey BBQ is our #1 seller. Jalapeño Garlic, Cowboy, Moist Regular, and Teriyaki are a few top sellers as well.
What’s the difference between brisket and regular jerky?
Brisket has a lot more fat marbling, resulting in a rich beefy flavor and wonderful tenderness.
What are Nuggets?
Nuggets are cubed chunks of top quality beef marinated in our delicious sauces and then smoked. They are our moistest jerky, easily chewable and convenient bite sized pieces.

What jerky has low sugar?
Hickory and Cowboy have no added sugar.
